Girls’Day – Wir machen mit!

Back to overview

As part of our sustainability initiative , we are not only committed to the climate and the environment, but also to social and societal issues. Discrimination and disadvantage are an absolute taboo at in-factory and equal opportunities are an essential feature of our cooperation. We are actively committed to this by taking part in this year's Girls' Day!

What is Girls'Day?

Girls'Day - Girls' Future Day - is a nationwide career orientation day for girls from the 5th grade onwards, especially for professions that are currently still predominantly male. It has been held in Germany every year since 2001 and, with around 100,000 participants, is a good platform for attracting young female talent to what are still "typically male professions" in the STEM sector.

Girls'Day 2022 is called Hackday @ in-factory!

Our preparations are in full swing. On April 28, we will open our virtual doors and invite 15 girls and young women to explore the world of IT with our consultants. We will show what our daily work looks like and give an overview of the information technology topics we deal with at in-factory. In addition to exciting insights into our fields of work and current events at in-factory, we are also organizing a small workshop to introduce programming with Scratch.

We are looking forward to the day and hope that we will inspire many young women to enter the still very male-dominated IT world!

Registration takes place via the Girls'Day Radar . The event takes place online in our virtual office in GatherTown.
