Informatica Cloud Data Integration
As a Platinum Partner, in-factory works closely with Informatica. In order to be able to carry out potential migrations from Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and in particular Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI), some employees took part in the Informatica CDI Partner Bootcamp from November 2021 to January 2022.
The four-week basic boot camp (the four green courses in the diagram) provided fundamental knowledge about the structure and integration of a cloud data warehouse and cloud data lakes in the Informatica Cloud. The features that Informatica offers in the cloud were also presented. For example, how a migration to the cloud can look like or how a hybrid model can be designed. The information was conveyed through online training materials and a practice course. Each participant was given access to the Informatica Cloud so that they could familiarize themselves directly with the cloud development environment. This offer was rounded off by special guest and other live sessions by Informatica and weekly "Cadence Calls" to answer any questions that may have arisen directly.

After the first four weeks, the "Cloud Data Integration Partner Bootcamp Associate" certificate was awarded following successful completion of the exam. 21 colleagues from in-factory GmbH completed the certificate and thus gained in-depth knowledge of "Cloud Data Integration".
Cloud application integration
In the second part of the seven-week program (outlined in purple in the diagram above), the CDI knowledge was deepened and supplemented by online training on the other Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services. The focus here was on the Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), cloud application integration, i.e. the integration of applications via web services, and API management. This training series was also supplemented by a live session from Informatica.
Eight employees of in-factory GmbH have successfully completed this supplementary course and the associated fee-based exam and are now certified "Cloud Data and Application Integration Certified Professionals" or "Cloud Data Integration Partner Bootcamp Champions".
