Open space, team spirit and exciting hero stories...
On October 25/26, it was time again for our annual company workshop. Under the motto "Tell your hero's story", in-factory teams had the task of presenting their individual hero stories for their IT project. The main aim was to recognize and awaken the hidden "hero" that lies dormant in each of us. And we succeeded! With a lot of creativity, ingenuity and intuition, the individual groups developed really exciting "hero paths " - which we can also implement in future projects.
Workshop based on the open space principle:
This time, our 29th workshop followed the open space principle: an agile concept in which participants can set the topics for the agenda themselves and then work together in working groups to find the best solutions. The following topics were defined:
- Introduction to the administration of the PowerCenter environment
- Basics of shell script programming under Unix/Linux
- Social Media
- Fullstack development with Java Spring, Svelte, SQL (JDBC) using an application
- Virtual machines: centralized, local, both?
- Set up Salesforce Sandbox, Workbench, Postman, first API call
At the end there was a great photo session - the conference hotel Villa Toskana in Leimen provided the ideal backdrop. All in all, it was another two great workshop days - filled with lots of interesting topics and inspired by great teamwork. Yes, it smells like TEAM spirit!
