Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) is an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solution developed by Informatica. Informatica offers a secure, fast and simple platform.

IICS Data Quality and Governance Cloud:

- Integration of data in database, file, app or web service
- Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) in the cloud, similar to the on-premise Product PowerCenter

IICS Master Data Managment Cloud:

The principle of IICS is not to have each repository and each domain physically on site, but to have access to the repositories and domains via the Internet connection and to be able to work remotely.

To do this, an Informatica Secure Agent is created and a connection to IICS is established via HTTPS for processing the metadata.

This Informatica Cloud Secure Agent is responsible for business data (such as various external applications) and access to local data and databases.

Finally, we need a machine with Internet access in order to carry out administration, configuration and maintenance.
